Buissons turns players into living bushes, having the four of them try to outwit a hunter (but mostly each other) to be the only bush standing at the end.
I don’t know why living bushes have such a problem with one another, let alone why a hunter would want to shoot them, but here we are. Two or four living bushes will all enter these generated woodland arenas, all hoping to be the only one to leave. To do this, you need to juggle some conflicting things. For starters, you want to stay out of sight of the hunter to not get shot. However, if you sit still too long, one of the other bushes is likely to pass gas on you and knock you for a deadly loop. Plus, the forest kind of just blasts things with fire or lightning sometimes.
With all of these elements in play, you want to keep shuffling around and staying on the move, but stop when the hunter is looking your way. You also want to find a hiding spot that makes you a bit difficult to find so that you don’t get dusted with gas, but one that you can get out of if a stray bolt of lightning is coming your way. So, the game requires you to constantly adjust your strategy and push your fellow players to make mistakes. It makes for some silly times, especially with the great character designs.
Buissons is a lighthearted battle between friends that will have you all constantly trying to cause trouble for one another. If only these bushes could live in harmony.
Buissons is available now on the Nintendo eShop and Steam.
