A cat café could use some care, animals need to be petted, and deserts need to be made in Calico‘s lovely land of magical girls.
Calico‘s cat café has seen better days, but luckily, Heartgirl and Flowergirl are looking to turn that around. To do that, though, you’ll need to go around town and befriend the local animals. You won’t just be petting cats or offering treats to dogs, but you’ll also be cuddling raccoons, deer, turtles, foxes, and red pandas. It’s animal lover bliss, in a nutshell.
Through playing with animals, pampering them, dancing with them, and carrying them, you’ll steadily get to know their likes and dislikes, as each animal has a distinct personality. Getting them to like you enough will then allow you to bring them to the café where they can snuggle your customers, or you can have them join your party and follow you around town, doing your bidding.
A healthy crew of fluffy pals is only part of the business in Calico. You’ll also need to set up the café with furniture to impress furry and magical visitors, put profits into constantly improving the place, and baking delightful pastries for your customers. Not all money needs to go into the shop, as you can spend a little cash on magic potions that create giant animal pals. Not all you time needs to be spent there, either, as you can also get to know the town’s charming residents.
