Combat Core offers an array of unique fighters to choose from, each bringing a fun moveset to the game’s grand brawls. Whether you just want to use that character to beat on one person, team up with a friend to tackle some foes, or have an all-out throwdown with four people, the game has you covered.
If you feel like you need a different edge that what you character normally has to offer, you can use combat cores to boost your stats and gain a few new moves. If those don’t help, you can try to pick up some of the weapons you might find lying around the maps, like laser swords or grenade launchers, to turn the tide against your foe. Maybe this will help you knock them into the many hazards in each arena as well. If you just want to create your own character from scratch to completely customize things, Combat Core will let you do that as well. Play it however you like.
Don’t feel like you;re left out if you can’t get four people to come to your house for a full match, as you can find players online to fill out a round. Given that Combat Core is cross-platform between the Switch and Steam, you should easily find someone looking to have a fight (in VR, if you like!).
