Cooperatively Use Hot & Cold to Traverse the Puzzling Worlds of ‘Degrees of Separation’

Rime and Ember, lovers of ice and fire, are separated by a strange force, but can work together to use their unique powers to solve the puzzles of Degrees of Separation.

You’re free to work alone or with an on- or offline friend to help the pair work through the confounding environments of Degrees of Separation. Each of you will affect the half of the screen that you’re on with hot or cold, altering the environments and the beings within it.

Depending on how the warmth and ice have changed things, you can unlock the way forward or manipulate mechanisms in various ways. Each new world you come to offers its own special mechanics as well, bringing new elements into how you can use your powers together.

Degrees of Separation is not solely focused on puzzles, as it also aims to tell a touching story of the difficult connection between the protagonists. Plus, it just looks lovely as you shift worlds from hot and cold.
