You know where these couches are supposed to go in Couch Installation Service, but can you get them into those spots in as few moves as possible?
For whatever reason, you’re working in couch arrangement for a living. It initially doesn’t sound like a very demanding job, but you can’t just grab these couches and lug them around (I assume you have a bad back or something). The only thing you can do is nudge their corners to make them turn, slowly guiding them to the place your client has set up for them.
The trouble is, some of your clients have definitely gone overboard on couches (how many friends do these people have?). So, you have to take all of the other furniture in the room into account as you rotate each couch into the right spot without getting it stuck on something else. It’s not the easiest task, especially as the rooms grow more and more complex over the course of the game’s thirty-five stages, but it’s pretty rewarding to see some of these nice places really come together through clever furniture placement.
Couch Installation Service is a cute-looking puzzler that will leave you scratching your head sometimes despite how mundane your task technically is. I honestly think that made me get more frustrated, since I kept thinking he should just pick up the dang couch. Still, it’s not like he’s getting paid to hurt his back, so I can’t blame him for doing it the slower, safer way.
Couch Installation Service is available now on itch.io and Google Play.
