Dap casts you as a tiny creature in a very dangerous world, asking you to collect your fellow critters and keep them safe from the horrifying creatures of the woods.
Something disturbing has crept its way into the forest. I mean, you can almost feel it from looking at the game’s visuals. Something sinister seems to have bled into the land, clawing at the edges of reality until it cut its way into your world. The Daps aren’t really equipped to deal with these sorts of things, either. They’re all quite small and breakable. Not the sort of things that are used to dealing with surreal, hellish visions that launch killer beams at them. So, they could use some leadership to find safety. Which is where you come in to help.
With your guidance, you can get them through troubles intact. You can also get them to fight alongside you if things get rough, and there IS power in their numbers. That said, the world have become corrupted. Spending too much time in some of these places is going to have a bad effect on these poor creatures. If that happens, you might see your helpful, fearful band turn on themselves at a bad time. You have to keep moving and using them effectively, all while an invisible timer counts down to oblivion.
Dap seems like an intriguing journey into a dark place, one where you have a lot of responsibilities to juggle. It’s not just YOUR life that’s on the line here.
Dap will be made available today on Steam.
