Dread X Collection 3 shows that adorable things can still offer jarring frights with its collection of twelve games from a variety of horror developers.
Adorable things going horribly awry makes for some horror that always sticks with me, for some reason. Perhaps it naturally makes me lower my guard, or maybe it’s something about how these worlds seem too pure and innocent for horrors to reach them, but when you’re a cute donkey named Potato and you’re looking for apples, it just hits hard when something horrible happens, right? He just wants apples. HOW CAN YOU BE CRUEL TO THIS LOVELY, CHUBBY DONKEY?!
Far more cute experiences await than just the monstrous things lying in store for Potato. There’s also the grim things that await you as you work an ice cream stand at an eerie fair (and you’d better not screw up, the unsettling things that happen as you work the rounds at a hotel, and the scary events that occur while trying to navigate a children’s tv show. Or you could find yourself as a living hair care product that has some nasty effects when it touches someone’s head. Or find something off about a collection of movies you want to watch for a marathon.
Dread X Collection 3 offers yet another wild variety of horror experiences, giving you a ton of awful things happening to cute characters (and if you’re dying for more, there’s naturally a first and second collection you can grab as well).
