Drive Buy needs you to hurry up and get those packages where they need to go, shutting out any rival delivery folks along the way.
This doesn’t seem too improbable these days, does it? Once competition really picks up for dropping off all of these packages we’re been ordering during the pandemic, how far will we be from firing rockets at other delivery cars in order to make their precious deliveries of baby wipes and novelty shower curtains? Well, you can get some practice early by grabbing the available packages and dropping them off at their destinations. You probably won’t get blown up TOO much.
Speed is an important factor in making your drops, but picking up the power-ups that litter each city could turn things around a little quicker. You don’t have to be much faster than a frozen car, do you? Or one that’s been rocked with a missile? There are several violent gadgets you can grab while hurtling to your destination, so grab one and see how much mayhem can be caused over a single delivery.
Drive Buy is a little bit Crazy Taxi, a little bit of Twisted Metal, letting you and your friends battle for big deliveries while trying to eliminate all of the other drivers. It’s looking to be wild and wacky, bringing its brand of mayhem to the Switch and PC equally through cross-play. A pretty nice addition that should ensure some nice, full, destructive races no matter what you play it on.
Drive Buy is currently in development, but in the meantime, you can add it to your Steam Wishlist.
