DUNKYPUNG needs you to bounce your cheerful red ball between saws, spikes, and other sharp things that mean to wreck your day.
Bouncing a ball used to be how I’d relax as a kid, but not so with DUNKYPUNG. Here, you need to keep your ball bouncing around an arena that keeps changing, with various traps popping in and out of the walls and floors every few moments. You need to use sharp reflexes to ping your ball around that room, bouncing back and forth without bumping into anything that would pop your ball. With things always shifting, though, that gets kinda hard.
Keeping your ball from popping might not sound difficult, but you’re encouraged to take some risks with it that may trick you into losing lives. You get more points from near-misses, making you more inclined to get close to danger (and likely popping yourself due to your greed). See where selfishness gets you? Now you’ve gone and popped your ball. Your father will be very mad when he gets home from work.
With a bunch of unlockables to make the game your own (assuming you want a more gaseous version) and several stages of bosses and ball-bursting hazards, DUNKYPUNG aims to keep you busy trying not to bust.
DUNKYPUNG is available now on Steam and iOS.
