In a dark, winding maze full of all sorts of wriggly creatures, you need to find the way out. What better way to do that than to inspect the poop left by others?
In asynchronous multiplayer game Doler, you’ll have to use (somewhat gross) clues left by others to find the way out.
Poop doesn’t seem like the most effective form of communication, but it’s how you leave messages and help for other players in Doler. Similar to messages from other players in Dark Souls, you can leave messages behind in your bowel movements, or follow the messages left behind by others in the same way. Luckily, everyone on the internet is honest and just, so surely you can follow these messages without much thought. Right?
Poop is your compass, but it can only guide you – it cannot save you from the dangers of the maze. On top of keeping a close eye out for stinky clues, you’ll have to take on spiders and moths. You’ll also want to have your nose to the ground to find some food to stay fueled up on your journey, as mice get hungry quite a bit. Although, you will want to make double sure of what you’re eating… It’s pretty dark and you wouldn’t want to mistake it for something much nastier.
With each new day, there is a new maze to explore, so try your best to be the fastest one out!
Doler is available for $3.00 on Itch.io.
