Exhausted Man needs you to help a dude who’s practically unconscious slither his way to completing many tasks while tired.
Our poor main character is just totally spent. They have nothing left in them and they can barely move beyond snake-crawling around the room. However, they have a ton of work they still need to do before they can rest, so you will have to help them crawl all over the room (thankfully you’re weirdly sticky and can really cling to surfaces – I guess showering didn’t happen during your busy day) and complete as many vital tasks as possible with the limited energy you have left.

This game is honestly a pure delight to watch in action. Having to help this person with all these tasks while they look so darn sleepy just makes for really comical moments. The game largely revolves around you taking on a series of challenges that all need to be completed at once, like napping on top of a plant at a specific angle. You have some ability to choose which challenge you take on, and when you’re taking part in a challenge, you also start by placing some props around the environment (hopefully in a way that makes your task easier). So, some planning is involved, but honestly the best part is just watching your noodle-like character slide along the environment you’ve created as you try to get them in the exact right ridiculous position.
Exhausted Man can get a bit tangled as the room fills with items and you try to grab things and maneuver yourself into just the right spot. Stopping to just take a moment to enjoy the overall silliness of the art and action, though, makes every moment charming and fun. And, I mean, how can you not want to help this poor guy get some rest?
Exhausted Man is available now on the Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Steam.
