A Night Walk is a lovely little game that highlights a variety of poems by a bunch of different authors.
You are going on a night walk – a small walk in the evening to enjoy the fresh air and see how the world is doing when the sun sets. The world is still awake, despite the sun going to sleep, and everyone seems to have a romantic poem to share.
As you explore the town, you find quiet roads where the leaves are blowing, busy streets, open clubs with people outside who don’t think they are a good place, and random objects, lying on the street. Without the distraction of a phone or anything else to do while you wander, you can take in the look of each area and listen to the poems people have to share with you. These poems are beautiful – great additions to the lovely surroundings, and lovely walk.
Night walking through small, quiet towns is something I did a lot as a kid. We didn’t have much to do in the evenings, so exploring after the sunset, in the yellow light of the street lamps, was always something I really loved. A Night Walk perfectly captures the feeling of walking in crisp air, with beautiful words and lovely visuals to enjoy.
