Those who feel drowned by the noise and bustle of the city or the endless hum of technology may find some peace (and danger) in Among Trees.
You’ll be tasked with surviving in the lonely woods. Building a cabin, finding food, it’s all on the table. Above all else, you’ll be able to soak in some majestic forest visuals on your getaway from the daily grind. As long as you keep yourself alive, that is.
There are quite a few survival games on the market right now, but Among Trees has some of the most beautiful visuals I have seen in a while. It captures the lush nature of a healthy forest in full bloom.
That isn’t to say that survival has taken a back seat – merely that they sit side by side. Players will be able to explore this forest while finding wood to build their cabin and food to eat. After making sure you’re not going to go hungry or freeze to death, you’ll want to focus on upgrading your cabin and build new rooms. These will allow you to unlock new activities like cooking, crafting, and gardening. All extremely essential for a long stay in harsh nature no matter how pretty the place is.
Fans of survival games that want to also appreciate the majesty of mother nature should not pass up Among Trees.
