Family Man gives you three weeks to pay off your debt to the mob before something unfortunate happens to you. How you make that money is on you.
There are a fair amount of ways for a desperate man to make money in this game. You can get a job and try to do things legit, although that might not be fast enough. You could work to help out folks in the community, making some money that way. It’d be nice if there was a solution to your problem that would help folks, wouldn’t it? If playing nice isn’t paying the bills, you can always go down a darker path, beating people down, cleaning up murders, carrying out your own shakedowns, and other criminal actions.
How you decide to fix your problem will matter for yourself and your community at large, though, so don’t just try the first thing that comes to mind. Killing people or laying beatdowns will cause the situation in your town (and family life) to deteriorate, whereas helping out the people around you may turn the whole city around in lovely ways. The hard part is juggling these methods in ways that get the mob paid off on time. Although, while some of these actions might make sure you live, you might not walk away feeling very good about yourself when you’re done.
Family Man is a dark, yet ridiculous game where anything goes on the path to making money. Try not to lose sight of why you’re doing all this along the way.
