The road beckons a group of lesbian pals in Get In The Car, Loser!. Not just for fun, as the Machine Devil could use a good whooping along the way.
A road trip is always a good time. Even when it’s disastrous, honestly. Maybe especially when it’s disastrous, as the stories you have to tell afterwards tend to be pretty wild and funny. That’s probably especially true when a group of attendees of the Academy of Order and a renegade angel get together to go stomp some evil cultists. That’s not all they’ll do along the way, though. Gotta give yourself some freedom to wander, even if you do need to eradicate a cult that means to summon awful beings.
Fighting evil with an active time battle system (and one where your teammates play very well off of each other if you can figure out how to get them to work together) is all well and good, but road trips tend to meander. They stop in odd places, hit up bizarre restaurants, grab snacks where they can, and all while you all talk and get to know each other better. Hence, the game will stop at many different places along the way, and give you plenty of time to talk with the folks in the car. What do you talk to a renegade angel about, though?
Get in the Car, Loser! is a sharp RPG (equipment does different things on different people, opening up whole new strategies, which is pretty dang neat) and a lovely story of coming together in the face of disaster.
