Gizmo Rabbit has you attaching randomly-generated gadgets to your bicycle to see if they will help you fly further or glide over the rooftops.
There is no story behind why you are flying through the air – only that you really want to make it further than your previous round, gliding above the rooftops and (hopefully) not crashing quickly. At first, your bicycle is quite simplistic. There isn’t much going on with it and you can’t actually get far. Each time you crash, however, you get offered a random item.
Sometimes, these items are very useful, like sails or umbrellas. Other items just seem to weigh you down, like a sewing machine or a big engine that does nothing. It’s a wild ride as you attach these items to your bike. Adding items does make it more challenging to control the contraption, though, as you will need to balance your character in the air as you glide.
You do have the chance to re-roll an item once, but you might end up with a worse item to clip onto your contraption. Where these items are clipped on is determined by the current state of the items on your bike, not allowing you to put anything anywhere else. You don’t get a lot of control on where to put things, but it’s funny to see how things turn out when you add more and more stuff. Eventually, you might get items that you can activate in air, like a water jet pack, but the button to use this changes with each run, so be aware.
Gizmo Rabbit is a wacky and random feeling game, which does match previous bicycle-based physics games I’ve played before. But this time without the gore I’ve seen in other ones.
