Grand Mountain Adventure opens up an array of slopes and mountains for you to explore and challenge yourself on, doing tricks as you ski through the soft snow.
Grand Mountain Adventure is a game of finding your own way throughout the snowy peaks, allowing you to wander the hills as you see fit, or find challenging activities to take on. The game does feature several carved-out paths if you just want to follow the set hills, but with many breaks in the barriers and tantalizing side routes here and there, you’ll likely be tempted to go explore once you’ve gotten off of the ski lift. And you should, as that’s where this game really opens up.
All kinds of things lie off the beaten path. Jumps, trains, wooden bridges to slide across, and other things await your discovery. Besides those tangible things, there’s also the pleasant feeling of finding an open field of fresh-fallen snow, or locating a section of the hill you just like skiing down. It’s about giving in to a feeling of discovery and speed as you hurtle down the hill, seeing what you can find as you let the snows guide you.
For those less interested in wandering the mountains, there are some skiing challenges you can take part in, allowing you to compete against other players for an online high score. You can also do all sorts of tricks, too. You can do some flips and spins, racking up a combo as you leap from high places. There’s tons to do, and several different slopes to explore, really letting you savor your time as you carve through the beautiful snow.
