So, the Heroes of Time just think they can roll up, bust your vases and barrels, then loot your chests? That’s not happening in Heroes Ravage, a multiplayer game of sweet NPC revenge.
Heroes Ravage is a four-on-four multiplayer game where one team controls the ‘heroes’ doing what they do best: looting homes for money and valuables they can use to save the world (or blow at the casino). The other team is in charge of the NPCs who are trying to defend their homes, setting up traps and doing their best to protect their treasures from the greedy heroes.
Both sides offer a great deal of customization in Heroes Ravage. You can give your hero a special set of tools to help them extract the most loot while staying alive, and NPCs get a suite of spike traps, water pits, and trap doors they can strategically position to take out sticky-fingered heroes. Once they’re set up, each side will rush to either protect or steal items, all while dodging around traps and attacks.
Heroes Ravage taps into that deep-seated sense of guilt you feel every time you snatch someone’s last few gold pieces from their upstairs bedroom in an RPG, or when you demolish a pottery collection as a certain fella in green, pushing you to help these people get a little payback, or to give in to the rotten hero you really are.
Heroes Ravage is currently in development.
Finally! It’s about time for NPCs to make a stand. An excellent game idea. This will really challenge the status quo. I wonder when the game will be released?
