Hoa takes us on a journey through an enchanted forest, letting us meet delightful creatures as we savor the beauty around us.
Have you ever wondered what the little creatures in the forest are up to? All those insects and tiny beings that you walk past every day? As it turns out, This is a story seemingly from their perspective, having you join our main character as they work their way across these lovely woods. Being so tiny makes this a bit of a challenging adventure, though, as you’ll have to find clever ways to maneuver around the environments. Leaping across leaves or enlisting the assistance of a bug could be what you need to do to keep moving forward.
It’s well worth taking the time to figure out these puzzling jumps, as there are many stunning sights to see if you can make the trek. The beams of light coming down from the trees look so dazzling you can almost feel the Summer heat. Likewise, the cool of the night seems to wash over you as you meander fields through moonlight. Plus, there’s many charming little friends you’ll make along the way. Some conversation with good pals always makes a journey better, so it’ll be lovely to get to know some of these beings.
Hoa is a lovely walk through the woods, especially when the art style captures the look of these places in such a way that you can practically see and hear them. Except this way, I don’t get eaten alive by mosquitos.
Hoa is available now on the Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, GOG, and Steam.
