It’s your life to live in the (mostly shady, but somewhat) peaceful town of Lakeview Valley. Maybe you’d like to spruce up your house. Maybe you’d like to quietly kill everyone. It’s up to you.
Lakeview Valley lets you create your own character and live out your life in a town that reacts to what you’re doing within it. If you get chummy with your neighbors, you’ll learn more about them. You have to figure out their schedule, though, as even NPCs have lives to live. You can also work to investigate a murder that went down in town, or figure out what gruesome creature seems to be stalking people in the night. Just expect a bit of danger to come your way if you get a bit too nosey.
Maybe you’re feeling inspired by that gruesome creature, though. If so, you can set out on your own killing spree in town, offing those NPCs as you see fit. Murder doesn’t go unpunished in the world of Lakeview Valley, as the Sheriff will come investigate any shenanigans in the town. If you leave some evidence behind, the cops will be at your door in a hurry, marking a quick end to your life in this town.
Lakeview Valley offers multiple different endings based on how you want to conduct yourself in the town, from model hero citizen to sick killer skulking in the shadows. You’ve got a week to live out whichever life you choose, so feel free to eke out whatever cheerful (or bloody) life you want to live.
Lakeview Valley is available now on Steam.
