A new demo for Visual Novel/RPG hybrid Love Esquire tasks players with growing from farmhands into world-saving assistants while also struggling to improve their love lives.
Or at least starting to.
You must help a good-for-nothing squire whose only skill is milking cows, training them to make them strong enough to save the world while also chasing eligible bachelorettes. You can work to grow closer to five various women, each with their own stories and personalities to get to know. It’s up to you who you to attempt to date, but you must also dedicate time to training their hero, lest war begin and you find yourself unprepared. Plus, certain stats will impress certain characters, so what you work on will be key.
The demo for Love Esquire offers a bit of an initial journey into the game’s world, letting you start getting to know the various characters you can attempt to romance. It will also introduce the game’s unique spin on combat where you have to assist and support a knight in combat, rather than taking a direct hand. Players can taunt foes, cheer on their hero, heal them, or loot gold, all of which have handy applications in a fight.
The demo for Love Esquire is available through the game’s Kickstarter campaign.
