Muse Dash pits you against colorful characters as you keep the beat of the music by beating up cute enemies and their projectiles.
You’re given an array of quirky playable gals to choose from, and have to take one of them on a jaunt across town. These walks are anything but peaceful, though, as you’ll have to thump your way through a rush of adorable enemies that mean to interrupt your day. These foes come at you on beat to thirty different extremely upbeat songs, and you’ll have to whack them to the tune if you want to get the best score for your travels.
Muse Dash seems to draw a little bit from shmups with the way it inundates you with shots, except you’re expected to swat them all down instead of avoid them. Doing this on-beat will likely help you get your timing down, and even if your timing is off, at least you’ll get to see a colorful variety of enemies and characters as you struggle. The game’s vibrant style is quite charming, and with its hyper-cheery (sounding) tracks, it looks like it’ll bring some super cheery good times to its players.
Muse Dash is slated for release in June 2019, but in the meantime, you can add it to your Steam Wishlist.
