As a pal of the Gods, your words to them can carry a great weight, for harmony or destruction, in narrative game Mythic Ocean.
Mythic Ocean takes you to an undersea realm filled with breakdancing crabs, talkative dolphins, and shimmering ocean gods. Your only job is to chat them all up, getting to know each of them while talking them through the personal problems they have. It’s a good time if you ever wanted to make some new friends beneath the waves.
The kicker is that some of these creatures are gods, and they’re just as likely to listen to your advice as any other sea creature. As they act on that advice, you’ll start to see changes in the attitudes of these deities. As they’re just about ready to create a new world, you might see some serious ramifications depending on what you suggested they do and how you talked to them.
Mythic Ocean offers numerous endings depending on how you speak to the various gods, allowing you to reshape the coming new world in ways that could be hurtful or helpful. It’s up to you to see just what your words weight to these silly, cheerful, and sometimes frightening gods.
