The world has ended. The humans have lost and have faced extinction. So, how are you here? Well, the afterlife is digital (San Junipero, anyone?) now, and you can enjoy eternity – or at least, you probably could have, at one point. A sentient AI has taken control of this world where your conscience has been uploaded, so you’re here whether you like it or not. This digital eternity is riddled with corruption that continues to plague the world and deadlier beasts that threaten your existence, too.
If you’re a master of rhythm, you’ll have no problem taking on this Nocturne: Prelude‘s challenges. You may even want to ramp up the difficulty if you’re finding your skills aren’t being tested. For those less rhythmically-inclined, yet love a good twisted tale, you will be able to take on an appropriately leveled challenge to build those skills up. You wouldn’t want to miss out on this twist on classic RPGs that lets you meet a variety of characters trying to survive this world. A dark story awaits you if you’re willing to step to the beat and take on a mysterious force.
