Pizza Ghest needs you to help a hungry person pay for their pizza order. Unfortunately, we seem to have ordered from demons, so the price is a bit steep.
At least, I think it’s a demon, since the price for the pizza is your soul (I bet the delivery creature from Why pizza? wouldn’t have charged you so much). Giving that up takes more effort than just signing a contract, though. You’ll have to poke around your apartment to see what sort of items you can find to meet the demon’s criteria. Things you love? Creatures you can’t live without? Items to solve riddles? You’ll have to look through drawers and cupboards until you fulfill all of the demon’s wishes. The guilt you feel while sacrificing your hamster or fish may outweigh just how hungry you are for that pizza, though. The little critters definitely didn’t deserve to get through into an otherworldly abyss.
As if you’re not dealing with enough trouble just to sell your soul and pay for a pizza, more demons start popping up in your home as you work to find the right items. These creatures will bully you and bump into you during your search, making things difficult. They’ll also outright snatch things from your hands, making major nuisances of themselves. There’s not exactly a lot of room to get around them, either, so expect to get pushed around as you work. Hopefully your food ends up being worth all of this ridiculous trouble in the end.
Pizza Ghest is an absurd way to deal with what should have been a simple task. Maybe just order from someplace else next time, buddy. Yeah, you’re starving now, but throwing your fish into hell seems a bit too high a price to pay for a single pepperoni pizza. And that’s ON TOP of already giving up your soul. Food prices are just silly these days.
Pizza Ghest is available now on Steam.
