You’ve been called to a domestic disturbance call. The lights are all off. Can you find the evidence and get the victim out alive before something happens to you?
The first case of Police Force takes you to the Barker residence, and it’s just supposed to be a simple response to a call. Something definitely isn’t right in the deep darkness inside the house, but unfortunately for you, you’ve still got to find all of the evidence related to the domestic disturbance while avoiding someone who definitely doesn’t want you to solve the case. Oh yeah, and you can’t interact with stuff with your gun drawn. Hopefully no one sneaks up on you while you’re investigating, right?
Police Force is a chilling game, strongly hinting that you don’t want to run into the main suspect, Adam Barker. It does so through an oppressive dark house, some surreal occurrences as you explore, and some unsettling discoveries you make along the way. And that Adam will likely blunder into you at some point and beat your head in. That’s also kind of scary.
This is only the first case for Police Force, as its developer is working on releasing several other stories of horror and mystery. The current case makes for a short, taut horror experience as you skulk in the darkness, hoping you finish the case before a bloodstained killer finally finds you.
The first case of Police Force is available for whatever you wish to pay for it on itch.io. More cases will be added to the game as they are developed.
