Mud is gross. At least to these high-ranking members of society. Puddle Knights puts you in charge of the protection of footwear and dresses alike by carefully laying down safe paths for them.
Even if it means stepping on a few heads to do it.
You’ll be playing as a dutiful puddle knight in charge of making sure your escort remains unscathed by the unsanitary streets. With the help of your trusty cape (and sometimes head), you can create walk-able paths for bishops and ladies to keep their clothes and footwear clean. You’ll have to control both characters to make your way to the exit point. It will involve a lot of switching as you figure out how to make a clear path without soiling your shoes.
With over 100 levels to try, you’ll be able to enjoy a steady increase in difficulty. You’ll be taught new tricks as you go along that will introduce new challenges and make you think twice before making a move. For example, you may find that it’s necessary to sacrifice a bit of your cape to progress, or use your head (literally) as a stepping stone for your escort.
If you make a mistake in Puddle Knights, you’ll be able to quickly revoke the choice with a handy undo function so you won’t have to restart the level. You can even redo if you’re feeling more confident in your original plan. The game allows for a lot of experimentation, and it has to when those puzzles really start throwing in some dastardly twists and turns.
Puddle Knights is available now on Steam.
