Knights of the Card Table gathers wacky weapons and heroes for a ridiculous dungeon crawl through suburbia and beyond.
Vampire cats, evil pylons, skateboarding dudes with attitudes, and dogs with rockets mean to stop your rockin’ adventure through town in Knights of the Card Table. Not that you have to immediately deal with the trouble they’re causing, as the game is all about choosing the card order as you delve into dungeons. You can fiddle with loot, healing items, and encounters as you see fit, shuffling the cards around to find the best time to deal with them all.
If card order isn’t enough to help you get through the game’s hundred dungeons, you can use collected ice pops and gold coins to get better weapons and armor (that stop sign will only block so much). You can also collect more characters, expanding your crew of tough teens.
Knights of the Card Table brings a bit of silliness with its card-based play, constantly bombarding you with puns and silly moments. Its art style enhances this sense of humor with some lighthearted, playful visuals. Don’t let this distract you from taking card order seriously, though, as you’re only one missed milk away from oblivion.
Knights of the Card Table is available now Steam. It is in open Beta on Android, and is also available for preorder on iOS.
