The Queer Games Bundle 2022 gathers hundreds of beautiful, fun, striking, and well-written games and tabletop experiences, all in support of queer creators.
The bundle brings five hundred and eighty eight different games, zines, online pets, and many other things together, with the proceeds being split between the developers who contributed to the bundle and opted to receive funds. Saying there’s a huge variety of things here is putting it lightly. As a ghost, you can scour your home for signs that a human is haunting it in A Human Haunting!. Go be a giant monster detective in Kaiju Noir. Try to take a little personal pleasure time despite your cat constantly looking at you in Boy With Cat (if you have pets, I KNOW you’ve gone through this at some point).
That’s not even close to the delightful stuff I found at a glance. There’s a tabletop game in there called VISIGOTHS vs MALL GOTHS, which got my attention just from the title alone. It’s a roleplaying game and dating sim where the warriors who sacked ancient Rome date spooky teens at a shopping mall. If you aren’t interested in this, I don’t know what else to tell you. Maybe go try to be a crab in a world that’s made for fish in Like a Normal Fish, instead. Find peace with your hot chicken boyfriend. Build a friend when you can’t find one. The amount of neat, varied stuff in here is staggering.
This is all just what I found at a glance at the bundle. There’s far more inside, including many games we’ve covered in the past and felt were well worth buying all on their own (Knife Sisters, We Should Talk, Electric Zine Maker). So…go get the bundle!
