Thirteen warriors from around the globe want to find out who’s the best, fighting on rooftops to get their answers. Watch your step. It’s a long fall.
Roof Rage offers an array of possible combatants to choose from, and they’ve all got their own movesets that make them stand out. While many are willing to throw down with fists and feet, some fighters aren’t shy to bring a sword to a fistfight. Or a laser gun. There’s a lot going on, especially with the potential for eight player matches adding a lot of chaos to trying to stay alive.
The character moves are often designed around juggling enemies and keeping them in the air, encouraging you to get creative with your combos once you’ve knocked someone off of their feet. You can even feel free to just grab a chunk of roof and add it to your barrage. Don’t feel like you need to combo someone until their health is all the way gone, either, as you can win just by tossing them into the abyss around your arena. You are fighting quite high up, after all.
Roof Rage is a wild multiplayer fight with some fun depth to its movesets, making for a delightful party game of punching your buddies in the face. Or shooting them. Or stabbing them. Or grabbing them with chains. I’m starting to think that my get-togethers might be a bit more violent than most.
Roof Rage is available now on the Nintendo Switch and Steam.
