Execute aerial tricks, grind across rails, and leave your brilliant mark on a gloomy city as you explore Butterflies: Episode 1 – Rudies.

Butterflies takes players to a city filled with gray rails, gray walls, and gray skies. You can bring some color to this place with your presence, though, creating brilliant purple and blue lights as you skate throughout the streets and into the air. Not only this, but you’ll be leaving permanent bright marks on the dull landscape with a quick tag here and there, spraypainting something that makes the place a little livelier than it was before.

You’ll also liven the world up with your trick moves, able to do an array of high-flying tricks as you jump from rooftops, skate along walls, or grind across rails and bike racks. There are several different tricks you can use, turning every single surface and piece of open air into an excuse to flip and twist, using your body and momentum to continually create fun in this grim, gray place.

Butterflies‘ multiple tricks, tagging minigames, and ability to create vibrant color simply by moving around, makes every action a form of brilliant, joyful rebellion against the tired gray of the world. It instills a need to move – to get up and bring something exciting to this place, leaving it a little brighter than before you came.
