Sky Journey – Jigsaw Landscapes sees you looking for your lost robot buddy through solving some calming puzzles.
Living alone in a mountain laboratory seems like it would get pretty depressing, especially for a little kid. The Earth is looking a little different in 2086 as well, making for an even lonelier life. You can jazz things up a little bit by donning your flying suit and gliding over the landscape, but still, a friend would make things better. You have a little robot buddy to cheer you up and give you some companionship, but it’s gotten lost. You have a laser beacon that tells you where it is, but now you have to follow that signal to get your buddy back.
To follow this signal, you’ll need to complete some jigsaw puzzles built off of their actions and the places the child is travelling through. Accompanied by some calming music, you’ll pore over the pieces as you assemble the picture. That can be made a bit easier if you want, as the game offers the ability to zoom in, to highlight edge pieces in your pile, or glance at a preview of the scene you’re trying to make. You can also make it harder through several difficulty levels.
Sky Journey – Jigsaw Landscapes has you building images that tell a charming story of friendship in a lonely world, making for a lovely time while you’re putting pieces together. Which I like better than making yet another puzzle with cute cats in weird places. Although I suppose that probably tells its own weird story, in a way.
Sky Journey – Jigsaw Landscapes is available now on Steam.
