You’re out to change the world in Starstruck. Whether that means playing great music or becoming a huge hand and wrecking stuff is up to you.
Starstruck puts you in the world of a pair of troubled kids, Dawn and Edwin. The pair’s musical career (and rough life) could use a little help from you, hitting the right notes at the right time. You can also help guide them through their colorful diorama of a home town, as well as their interactions with the people who live there. In doing so, maybe you can make everyone’s lives better (or save the world).
Changing the world through music isn’t quite enough in Starstruck, though. Sometimes, things need a more aggressive touch. You can switch from the kids’ perspective to that of a huge hand, one that’s able to smash and disassemble the world how you like. Maybe you just want to knock down a fence that’s in the kids’ way, or maybe you’d prefer to just crush cars, unscrew walls, and tear down street lights.
Whether through spreading mayhem or music, you’ll slowly change this world. Possibly even for the better, if you can control yourself and your giant hand powers.
Starstruck is currently in development, but you can subscribe to its newsletter through the game’s site.
