An ancient entity tasks you with finding a source of evil within a perverse, unsettling temple in Tamashii.
Tamashii takes you deep into a deeply disquieting temple filled with quivering hallways, rooms lined with living parts, and chambers of snapping organs and statues of monstrous gods and beasts. You’re expected to purify the place through puzzle solving and precision platforming, although honestly, this temple doesn’t seem like it was too pure to begin with.
Tamashii‘s varied temple halls seem to scream at a hidden meaning, its varied, seemingly-chaotic pieces all pointing to a story of pain. The entire place seems to be in agony, judging from the writhing creatures and internal organs that litter the place. It’s a dizzying visual style, and one that may inspire more than a few nightmares as you spend time there.
