Tendar has you taking a little fish from its bowl and introducing it to the real world, helping it grow with heaping helpings of your emotions.
Your fish is itching to explore the world, and with your phone, you can feel free to walk it about town. As you wander, you’ll want to keep your fish fed, though. Exploring is hungry work, after all. Your fish needs a steady diet of feelings to keep going, though, and you’ll be an excellent source of those.
How does one feed a fish with emotion, though. Well, you capture your facial expressions, which the game analyzes and turns into food for your growing guppy. Not only your own emotions, though, as it will also gauge your interactions with friends and their feelings as well, drawing on their expressions to create more sustenance for the little creature.
Like most growing things, your guppy will change based on what you feed it. Depending on the expressions it feeds on, it’s grow in a variety of ways, so you’ll want to rope in as many friends and fun acquaintances as you can to make your fish’s growth as positive as possible. It may start off as a non-verbal pal, but it will steadily grow its own personality through the interactions, so you might just end up with a fish that’s as grumpy or cheerful as you are. The last thing you want is to give this digital sea creature an existential crisis, though, right?
