The Darkside Detective: Season 2 is looking to bring back goofy duo McQueen & Dooley and their investigations into the supernatural, offering players even more ghoulish, funny adventures.
For those new to paranormal crime, The Darkside Detective has players helping Detective Francis McQueen with any and all cases involving ghosts, hexes, and otherworldly doings. Despite the danger you’d think these things present, and some complex goings-on you’ll need to figure out through the game’s point & click puzzles, McQueen and his constant foil and sometimes partner, Officer Dooley, never take anything seriously, resulting in some truly fine comedy.
After the first season’s nine cases, The Darkside Detective: Season 2 looks to offer even more spooky crimes and conundrums to unravel across six new cases. From creepy carnivals, to haunting amateur wrestling nights to eerie high school reunions, players can expect to solve hauntings across multiple locations and find themselves in even more absurd situations filled with the series’ top-notch humor.
The past season gave players excellent puzzles, silly situations, and some surprisingly chilling moments, making it mandatory horror adventuring. If The Darkside Detective: Season 2 can just match that, you definitely need to get on it. Feel free to play its first two cases for free if you don’t believe me.
