Timo finds a boy getting himself lost in a good book quite literally, becoming trapped within five different literary worlds filled with goofy item-based puzzles.
At least these places are very pretty and colorful. Not the worst places you could get lost. The game is filled with all sorts of bubbly, charming-looking creatures and beings, creating this sense of wandering through a children’s book (which kind of makes sense). Cute dinosaurs, cheerful horses, lush fields, and some silly interactions between them make this a delightful game just to look at. You might be stuck figuring out what item goes where, but at least you’ll have some adorable company and playful places to think about them in.
Anyway, while you’re here, you’re looking to reassemble a magic medallion so you can get out. Doing that means poking around for items and figuring out what to do with them. Does that knight statue need a poncho? What’s that horse interested in? The game also makes use of some of the functions of your phone to solve its puzzle, like having you tilt the device in order to get some rocks to roll out of the way.
Timo is relying on that big heart of yours to help him figure out what items go where as you work your way through this children’s book-like adventure. So, try not to get too distracted by the lovely landscapes and grinning creatures as you help the boy find his way home.
Timo is available now on the App Store and Google Play.
