You will explore the nostalgic suburbia of New England, its primeval misty forests and mountains, abandoned farmlands riddled with undulating ancient rock walls, the extravagant ruined castles and mills of long forgotten industrialists, neglected shopping centers and so much more! Ode to a Moon was inspired by actual events and the general belief that Truth is oftentimes stranger than Fiction.
That’s all for now, see you next month!
Thanks for bringing this series back, Thomas!
I love the music in Aquamarine’s trailer. It transports you to that 70s psychedelic sci fi setting like nothing else.
Felix the Reaper looks amazing. It’s been less saturated in the “super weird but charming games” as of late. Eldritch Zookeeper also nails that with its concept right out of the gates. The Greater Good has an AMAZING soundtrack, and looks like its a pretty epic quest, but just a teensy bit of more contextual clarity could help push it closer to “I need this” for would-be players.
All in all, I love how I didn’t know most of these games.
Second on that soundtrack for the Aquarmarine trailer. Perfect Vangelis-style stuff.
