Veinless Property just needs you to flick off the lights and head to bed. Don’t mind the perpetual crimson glow or the eyes staring in your windows.
Having your parents out for the night can make for an evening of incredible unsupervised delights, but also with the sudden realization that you’re completely alone. Possibly on your own for the first time. So, with that excitement can come a bit of fear – one that gets harder to dismiss as night falls. Our protagonist finds themselves in a similar situation, with their terror growing as something seems to be peering in the windows. It’s not long before those eyes are staring in the shadows of the house.
You need to keep yourself safe as you move through yourself, staying clear of the eyes in the dark. That said, you’re also going to want to keep your lights on, which often means you’ll be creeping far too close to the monster for comfort. Honestly, facing it in the dark might be better, because there’s something deeply unsettling about the vibrant crimson colors that stain the entire world. You can feel this hostile presence just surrounding you in this light. It feels like it’s angrier with then lights on. Or that you’re going to see something you’ll wish you hadn’t under its red glow.
Veinless Property is a quick horror jaunt, but with a fantastic visual style that oozes fearful atmosphere. I just take a look at this place and, whether in the dark or the light, I want to get out of there. Although if those eyes in the dark find me, I doubt I ever will.
