A young man heads to Neuville’s Mansion to find someone left behind, but mysteries, tricky mechanisms, and strange visions await there.
Viviette takes you to a gloomy mansion shrouded in shadow, asking you to find someone inside. It’s far from a straight path, as the decrepit mansion has fallen into dangerous disrepair, forcing you to take care in how you work through it. Not only this, but the place is filled with puzzling contraptions that will block your path, forcing you to use your head to find solutions as well as gather items you need to move on.
While keeping up with those, Viviette expects you to keep collected despite some unsettling aspects and events that occur throughout your travel. The mansion exudes a menace through its darkness, the broken halls, and the hints of story found through objects scattered around. Something unsettling has happened here, and you get a sense that something equally disturbing will happen to you if you’re not careful.
Viviette already displays a chilling atmosphere in its trailers, which will hopefully lead to a frightening, mind-bending experience as players solve mechanical puzzles as well as the narrative puzzle that lies beneath these decaying rooms.
Viviette is available now on Steam.
