Yuri Visual Novel ‘Heart of the Woods’ Finds Love with a Ghost

A paranormal investigation leads to a blooming romance between Maddie and Abigail, a woman long dead, in Heart of the Woods.

Maddie’s a good friend. She’s been helping her pal Tara by managing, editing, and handling the business of her paranormal vlog channel, but she’s just about had enough when we enter the story. Still, she’s agreed to assist with one last story, one that’s supposed to provide definite proof of the supernatural. This proof turns out to be the ghost Abigail, a young woman who was victim of an unjust act two hundred years ago.

While funding proof of ghosts is pretty exciting on its own, Maddie soon finds herself developing feelings for this lost spirit. As this feeling grows, she is also working to discover the reason behind Abigail’s imprisonment here, as well as the circumstances of her demise. If she can find out enough, she just might break Abigail’s curse, but that also means saying goodbye to the person she’s grown to care for.

Players will have to help Maddie through some difficult decisions, leading to one of the many endings of Heart of the Woods. Can you help her make that difficult decision, or will you give in to her desires to keep the ghost she loves at her side?
