‘The Gardens Between’ Explores Memories of Friendships With Time-Manipulating Puzzles

Islands built around childhood memories hold secrets for time-controlling pals in The Gardens Between.

Arina and Frendt find themselves in an array of surreal islands made up of pieces of their childhoods, capturing memories in fractured, but beautiful, landscapes. These captivating places tell a story as you work your way through their confounding puzzles, whispering about the tender past that these two characters hold with one another.

When not soaking in the story that lies in the world around you, you’re tasked with manipulating the flow of time around each island, moving objects and altering events in ways that will open a path to the top of each island. You’ll need to be creative with how you play with time as well, as how and when you use this ability, and the manner in which you move forward and back, will help you clear the path for these young friends.

The Gardens Between weaves a narrative of the warm memories we hold dear, as well as the flow of time upon the connections with those we care about.
