Your emotional state can often draw people in or make them avoid you. About Love, Hate And The Other Ones 2 uses this to create puzzling places.
There’s a big red button that you’re not supposed to press. Ever. Naturally, that is too much of a temptation for some folks, resulting in HATE’s kid disappearing. So, HATE has to grab their buddy LOVE to go out looking for their lost child. It’s anyone’s guess where the tyke ended up, but if you wander through the game’s 3D lands long enough, surely you’ll find the brat.
HATE and LOVE use their emotional powers to influence the people inside the game’s levels. Love draws people closer, and a spitball of hate sends them away. Using these, you can shuffle creatures around until you’ve made enough of a path to reach the end of each level. Mind you, there might be a few more emotional powers to be found as you explore. Hopefully they don’t mind you blowing kisses at them and then standing on their head so you can reach a stray platform.
About Love, Hate And The Other Ones 2 will have you shifting your perspective on its levels to find a way through them. Not every possible path is easy to see, so you’ll need to examine the puzzle from several different viewpoints if you’re to find a way through. It might not be easy, but surely the heart-throwing power of love will get you through. Although a little stinging hate can’t hurt, either.
