You know the saying “You have to learn how to walk before you can run?” Biped pushes it a bit further by teaching you to walk, but then swing across deadly pits.
Fear not, though, as you won’t be alone. Bring alone your best friend for some jolly cooperation in this puzzling platforming adventure.
Using straightforward controls, you will be able to quickly grasp the main concepts within moments to tackle challenges that test your skill with every level. They’ll start out gentle, asking you to walk over to the button and stand on it. Then, you’ll soon find yourself and your partner screaming as you fling each other across a slick ledge with small panels to grab. It’s like a trust fall, but with video games! These adorable robots that you and your friend control will be very happy with buddies that have strong co-operative skills Otherwise, the journey will most likely be short lived.
Biped will make you think and laugh, and you’re sure to strengthen your bond with your buddy as you work across varied terrains while trying not to make your partner tumble to their doom. At the very least, you’ll create some lasting memories (or hostilities). If you want something to play while feeling a little lonely in these uncertain times, I think this is the perfect medicine to bring you a little cheer, doing so with its perky levels and plucky protagonists (that you can even dress up if you feel so inclined).
Biped is available now on Steam.
