Ever wonder what it would be like to be a mayor of a small town during worldwide, life changing events? In Egglets – The Long 10 Days you will be doing just that. As the mayor of this extremely small town, you will need to not only take orders from the greater government, but make day to day decisions that effect your small town.
At first, it’s quite easy. You have been elected and are running your town – handing out the local newspaper and visiting houses to tall to people. But then, some scary stuff starts to happen. Though you want your townsfolk to remain calm, you do need to decide what you are going to share with them and what you are not. It’s important that they trust you, but also important that you are not revealing to much.

Decisions need to be made on if the newspaper is delivered, what is being shown on TV, and if your funds are spent on vital things like learning books for the children of your town. You only have a small amount of time to look after this town, so it’s up to you to manage their fate and see what they end up knowing about their own situation.

I quite enjoy the graphic style of Egglets – The Long 10 Days and felt that the unique stories behind each of the characters felt very interesting and gave a lot of different ways that the story could go and progress. There was a lot of moments where I wondered if I was doing the right thing and if I was saving my people or if I Should have actually helped them understand more about the greater situation around them. I only got to play a small demo at Gamescom, but very much enjoyed it.
Egglets – The Long 10 Days is now out on Steam.
