Four players. Four dog pilots. Who will emerge victorious as top dog in Dogfight?
Dogfight drew me in instantly with dogs flying planes. I mean, come on. On closer examination, Dogfight reveals itself as a competitive four-player fight and flight game. Your objective is to soar through the skies and take down your opponents so that you are sole owner of the air. Don’t let its cute and fluffy exterior fool you. You’ll be laughing and flying, gunning down your opponents and then, moments later, find yourself plummeting.
You’ll have to be using all your situational awareness since the skies are a vulnerable place to be for a dog. There’s no shame in avoiding a shootout between 3 players and returning to pick off the weak ones. You wouldn’t want to be on the business end of a Tennis Ball Machine Gun (or maybe you would if you’re my dog who eats them). Or any of the other lighthearted weapons in the game. No one wants to actually shoot really weapons at flying dogs, right?
Dogfight embraces its charm and pushes it full-throttle with aptly named weapons and themes. Players are sure to get a kick out of the fun and competitive flight battle. Hopefully, it isn’t too ruff for you.
